Apologia Biology Giveaway

July 25, 2012 by Maureen Spell 118 Comments

I’ve heard it said over and over again that kids grow up so fast. Well, I’m going to say it again — it was just yesterday that my oldest was in preschool and now she will be a freshman in high school. Kids grow up fast! I’ve started planning her courses for the year and one thing on her schedule will be Apologia Biology.

High School Science:

I will admit that I’m a little nervous moving into this new phase. One constant over the years has been our choice of science curriculum though. We’ve used Apologia for several years and will continue to do so into this new high school phase.  My daughter is particularly excited to start Apologia biology this year. Labs, microscopes, dissections— oh my!

You can view the table of contents, a list of the labs included in the book, plus a sample module  on Apologia’s website. Through the year I’ll be sharing some of the activities we do plus a more detailed review.

Apologia Biology

I figure that there might be several of you still planning your course of action for this year or looking ahead to next year’s science schedule. I teamed up with Apologia to give one reader an Exploring Creation with Biology book,  a solutions and test manual, and a full-course cd-rom. What a great way to start back to school!

I’m really happy to learn about Apologia — I hadn’t before and will check it out. I feel like our family needs something a little bit more thorough for Science. My kids are still younger so I’m not interested in this Giveaway but wanted to reach out and thank you for sharing 🙂
