ecoSTORE Baby Products

August 10, 2010 by Maureen Spell 1 Comment

Did you know that your skin is your largest organ? What we place on our skin is absorbed into our body. Since realizing that fact, over the past year and a half I have switched all our personal care products to products that contain more natural ingredients. When the ecoSTORE contacted me about reviewing their baby products, I was thrilled since they are known for their plant- and mineral-based products that contain no synthetic chemical ingredients.

I was sent the Aromatherapy Baby Body Wash and Aromatherapy Baby Shampoo. I have used both of these products for the past couple of weeks with my two youngest girls–ages 1 1/2 and 3 1/2.

Results:
I was pleased with the way these products cleaned my girls’ hair and bodies. Both products have a nice, light, fresh scent. Since they are aromatherapy products, they have more of a eucalyptus-y smell. I like that it wasn’t overpowering at all. A little does go a long way! You only need a dime-sized amount of the product to get clean, so this should last us awhile.

Though I didn’t set out to test this—my 3yr. old did get some shampoo in her eyes and it did not sting. I like knowing that the ingredients used in these products aren’t going to harm my children. I will gladly purchase more of these products once we run out.

Baby Body Wash: $10.00
Baby Shampoo: $11.00
Free shipping on orders over $25
Products also found at Meijer and Duane Reade stores.
