Giveaway: $500- Spend it any way you want!

July 15, 2012 by Maureen Spell 74 Comments

So it has been pretty quiet on Spell Outloud this summer. I’ve been taking a little break and working on organizing my house. Normal people do a little at a time during the year, but I’m tackling it all once this summer. I really need to start following Nony the Slob’s advice!

In fact this past week I’ve done over 40 loads of laundry (overhauled the linen closet plus regular laundry), had a garage sale, and am switching out kids’ bedrooms. Yes the house is a wreck.  Since I will be spending my time in the throes of organizing and cleaning instead of blogging,  I thought it would be fun to have something special just for you. Check out the giveaway below!

Who could use some cash??

This week a team of bloggers have teamed up for a fun giveaway – CASH! $500 in PayPal Cash! Don’t have a PayPal account? You can choose an Amazon or Target gift card instead!

Entries are simple.

Mandatory entry – leave a comment on the blog post below the Rafflecopter and tell us how you would spend your winnings. Do not forget to indicate on Rafflecopter that you left a comment.

Wow. We would either repair our car too, or pay for my son’s medical bills (ongoing). What a giveaway!

Have fun with your house organizing. It’s work, but it is a little fun, too, right? I tend to do bigger overhauls every so often when I can, too.

My husband lost his job and is having a time finding work, so I’d use the $500 for Target for food, etc. I just might buy myself a new outfit…is it wrong I’m still wearing maternity clothes and I gave birth in 2007? LOL! May the Lord bless you all for offering such a wonderful giveaway!

$500 . . . . I would use it to help pay for my iPad that the kids are truly using for school. The engineer thinks it is a purchase for me. Alas, no it really is for the kids. 🙂 But I am going to use it for one blogging conference. {grin} But to be honest, I did pay for the kids iPad. I collected their birthday money the past few months. So quite honestly, we REALLY need/want a new kitchen table from Ikea. We have no room to fit all our family and then have guests. So a new table . . . for eating, fellowship and school.

Well our student loans have yet to fund from summer term. We should have had a check a month ago. Our savings is now completely depleted and we have bills to pay so I’d use it temporarily to help us pay our bills. When the loan funds I would use that $500 to finish off the amount I need to pay for me to take my Babywearing Institute courses. I really really really want to take these courses so I can better help the parents in the babywearing group I started and maybe be able to make a little cash so we don’t have to get as much in student loans while my hubby is working on his PhD.
