We have been a homeschooling family for over 10 yrs. now. It all started when my oldest was preschool-age. I was not ready to let her go to preschool, but wanted her to be learning and have a good foundation. As a former teacher, I had many preconceived ideas regarding homeschooling and learning. I did not know any homeschool families in real life at the time and I did not know where to start. So I turned to the internet. I spent countless hours finding information and resources.
Over the years I’ve relaxed some, learned lots, and have developed many wonderful homeschool friends and supporters. My goal with this website is to share ideas and other homeschool resources for families. I know I appreciated the help I received while on this journey and I hope that I can return the favor.
