I can’t believe we have been homeschooling for over 11 years now! We started when my oldest was in preschool and she will be entering high school this year. Every year I feel like a novice — wondering if I’ve planned and scheduled everything correctly. Thankfully over the years I’ve learned to give myself grace and to be flexible. What looks good in a planner might not work out in real life. What worked for one child might not work for another. What works for me as a teacher might not work for my kids. I’m learning to take things one step at a time and listen to God’s leading.
So for now, here are our current 2012-2013 homeschool curriculum plans. Since my children are tots through high-school age, I divided up our homeschool curriculum posts into 4 different categories. Just click the links to go to my specific curriculum plans. I’ll be updating the posts if/when changes and additions occur.
We’re just starting out on our homeschool high school journey. Here are our 2012-2013 Homeschool High School Plans.
We also have a middle-schooler in the house! Here are our 2012-2013 7th grade plans.
Though this is my third time teaching 4th/5th grade, each child has been unique and has their own strengths and struggles. For my daughter we are focusing heavily on language arts this year. Check out our 2012-2013 4th/5th grade plans.
I will also have a toddler, a preschooler, and a kindergartener this year! We are pretty relaxed in these early ages and view play as an important learning tool. Here is what I have scheduled for 2012-2013 Early Years.
