I love when craft kits come with no need to glue! This particular turkey headband kit had Glue Dots for all the parts. It made it so that my preschoolers could do this activity independently (minus tying the string).
After reading and talking about the first Thanksgiving, the girls used pretend food to make their own Thanksgiving feast. We’ll probably play this several more times before Thanksgiving because they had so much fun.
For next week (if I get some printer ink) we’ll use the wonderful Thanksgiving Preschool Pack from 1+1+1=1.
Now I need to start planning what to bring for our real Thanksgiving meal 🙂 Any side-dish or dessert ideas?

Your kids are so adorable!! Thanks for the Thanksgiving pack link–my youngest maybe a bit old for it, but it will be a bit of a break and with all the color and Turkeys…I know she'll enjoy it!
Aww, thanks—I thought they looked cute too–especially the 2yr. old w/ her very cheesy grin! 🙂 Glad you can use the link to the Thanksgiving Pack! Carisa always comes up with great stuff.

I love the headband. It is such fun. I wonder if I could get JDaniel to wear one.
That looks like a nice no fuss type of craft kit. Adorable pictures!
