Virtue Training

August 1, 2012 by Maureen Spell Leave a Comment

Teaching my children virtues has not been an easy thing— mainly because I’m convicted of how short I fall! We have been using We Choose Virtues over the past year and it has made a difference though. It has helped me define what a virtue is and what it isn’t. My kids love the Virtueville kids and the catch-phrases are easily memorized. We even started using WCV at church in the preschool department. Now when a teacher says to be patient, everyone knows what is expected.

For the month of August, theHomeschool Kit and the Family Kit are on sale. Use coupon code BTS25 for 25% off. If you’re not sure between the family and homeschool kit– they both come with the parenting cards with scripture, but the homeschool kit also contains more posters and a few other additional tools.

School teachers and churches can use coupon code START25 for 25% off any of the school or church kits.

The Official Butterfly Award  comes as a FREE download this month with any kit purchase!

We Choose Virtues - Kindness

I previously shared a little song and craft that we did when learning about kindness. What I like about this program is that it doesn’t take much time to implement. If I want to do extra activities, I can. If I don’t, no problem! Oh, and I mentioned that even I am learning with this program. Heather has mentioned that she will be coming out with a Virtue posters for adults in the near future!

Building on virtues– what a great way to start back to school!
